What is Final Table about?
Final Table is a cooking survival drama built around The Table: K-Chef 2026, a high-stakes televised competition to crown the finest Korean chef, where a cash prize and the chance to open a restaurant with the backing of the mighty Pyeonyeon Group are on the line.
Ahn Hyo-seop (Business Proposal, KPop Demon Hunters, Sold Out on You) plays Kang Han, a world-class talent who built his career overseas under the name Chris K., his background deliberately shrouded in mystery. After an unexpected incident, he becomes head chef at Famiglia and enters the competition. Hong Hwa-yeon (Buried Hearts) plays Choi Song-yi, fighting to keep her late father's failing restaurant Famiglia alive. Chang Ryul (My Name, Daily Dose of Sunshine) plays Cha Woo-jin, the perfectionist star chef behind Korea's finest contemporary restaurant, who was handed the only defeat of his career by the mysterious Chris K. six years ago and now gets his revenge showdown. Jung Yoo-jin (Snowdrop) rounds out the main cast as the competition's executive producer.
The series is written and directed by Kim Doh-hoon (Moon Embracing the Sun, Chimera) and produced by SLL, B.A. Entertainment and DZoongFilm. A fresh teaser released on October 15 shows the chefs bracing for a cutthroat battle, with the rivalry between Kang Han and Cha Woo-jin front and centre.
