Release schedule
Daemons of the Shadow Realm ends its 24-episode run with the finale on Saturday, September 19, 2026. New episodes have dropped every Saturday since the April 4 premiere, with one short break in late June. Episode 23 streams on September 12, setting up the finale a week later. The 24-episode count is confirmed by the anime's Japanese home-video release plans, so September 19 is a true ending, not a mid-season pause.
India time conversion
Crunchyroll releases new episodes on Saturdays at 9 AM Pacific Time, which converts to 9:30 PM IST. Indian viewers with a premium Crunchyroll subscription can watch the finale on Saturday night, the same day it airs in Japan.
Where to watch legally
Crunchyroll is the same-day simulcast home for the series, including in India, with subtitles and an English dub. Netflix is also releasing episodes weekly with multiple dubs, but on a delayed schedule that runs into December, so Crunchyroll is the way to watch the finale on release day.
What to expect
From Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa, the series follows twins Yuru and Asa, separated as children in a world where certain humans command supernatural pairs called Daemons. The final stretch has the twins closing in on the truth of their birth and the power they inherited. Expect the finale to bring the Daemons conflict and the twins' reunion storyline to a head - and since Arakawa's manga is still running, a continuation has plenty of source material left.
