What is Bless about?
Aia was scouted as a model, but his real ambition is to become a makeup artist. When he asks his shy, self-conscious classmate Jun to enter a school runway fashion contest, offering to do her makeup, an unlikely partnership begins. The anime airs in Japan on Fuji TV's prestigious Noitamina block.
The production lineup is stacked: Shōtarō Kitamura (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!) directs at A-1 Pictures, with Honoka Yokoyama (Oshi no Ko) as character designer and chief animation director. The latest character video revealed Tarusuke Shingaki as Hikaru Oya. The manga is also getting a separate live-action series that will stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide in spring 2027, so Indian viewers get two versions of the story next year.
